Understand What Your Browser Keeps

Cookies, saved site data, cached files and downloaded drafts are different things. This page explains the behavior of the supplied static manual.

Cookies in the supplied page code

The supplied HTML, CSS and JavaScript do not set cookies. They do not include advertising, analytics, third-party embeds or account sessions. The site’s supplied scripts do not read or write localStorage or sessionStorage.

This statement concerns the page code. Hosting infrastructure or separately added site services may have their own behavior. Any additional technology must be assessed and explained by the site operator, including obtaining consent where applicable. A general notice does not itself authorize non-essential tracking.

What stays only in the page

The navigation menu state and scroll-reveal state are held in the current page. The contact builder also holds its draft in the current page and does not persist it through a site storage mechanism. Browsers may independently restore form fields or provide autofill; those features are governed by your browser settings.

Copies you explicitly create

Copying a message puts text on your device’s clipboard. Downloading it creates a local text file. Neither action is a cookie. The site cannot clear those copies after you create them. Delete the file or replace the clipboard contents using your device’s controls if you no longer want to retain the text.

Browser caching

Your browser may cache pages, images, scripts and styles to reduce repeated downloads. The hosting server’s settings and your browser determine cache behavior. Cached resource files are distinct from tracking cookies, though both can be managed through browser controls.

External links

Visiting a linked tool provider or research service may expose you to that destination’s cookies, storage and policies. Those technologies are not loaded merely by displaying the direct text links in these pages. Review the destination’s choices before signing in or sharing information.

Managing your choices

Use your browser’s privacy or site-data settings to inspect and remove cookies and stored data for a particular domain. Private browsing does not make you anonymous to every network or service. Clearing site data also does not necessarily remove downloaded files, email copies or synchronized clipboard history.
